Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description:

CARROLL BRADFORD is searching for an experienced accounts receivable professional with experience in the construction industry.  We are looking for a career-minded team player with a strong desire to serve our customers.  Our ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of accounts receivable experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Manage billings and collections for Carroll Bradford’s portfolio of clients.
  • Submit accurate and detailed invoices to clients and insurance carriers to ensure timely collections.
  • Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, and recording accounts receivables transactions.
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues.
  • Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
  • Make outbound collection calls and emails for accounts as necessary.
  • Generate financial statements and weekly Aging reports detailing accounts receivable status.
  • Work closely with field and sales reps to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
  • Coordinate the issuance of lien documents and release forms.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or similar roles. 
  • Preferred but not required - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Knowledge of commonly used accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent analytical skills with sound understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.
  • Knowledge of fair credit practices and collection regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and business management skills are required.
  • Proficiency in MS Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with Quickbooks preferred but not required.
  • Ability to perform job responsibilities with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills with the ability to work in high-stress situations.
  • Must be self-motivated with a desire to always improve both personally and professionally.
  • Ability to work well with others and be part of a Team.

CARROLL BRADFORD is searching for a highly motivated and driven Sales Consultant in the Residential Remodeling Industry.  This position will be primarily focused on Residential Roofing opportunities, working directly with clients to educate, build trust, identify needs/wants, and offer sales solutions. Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated, driven, and have an overall desire to win.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Conduct in-home sales presentations and damage assessments to educate clients and build trust.
  • Identify customer needs/wants and provide sales solutions to help close profitable sales.
  • Educate homeowners on the insurance claim process and help coach the client through the claim process if they choose to file.
  • Manage sales opportunities from inception to completion, including follow-ups, answering questions, providing detailed estimates, and setting proper expectations with clients.
  • Effectively manage a project pipeline in company provided software, reviewing sales data and trends to improve closing ratios.
  • Attend sales and training sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Must be Competitive, Driven, Assertive, and Enthusiastic
  • Must be punctual and able to effectively manage a schedule.
  • Ability to climb ladders and walk pitched roof surfaces on 1-3 story residential homes.

CARROLL BRADFORD is searching for a top-performing and experienced Estimator in the Commercial Construction Industry.  This position will work directly with clients and the sales team to secure new opportunities and create bid packages for both Residential and Commercial Construction Projects. Our ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of commercial construction management experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Construction Management.

CARROLL BRADFORD is a general contractor working primarily in Central Florida with an emphasis on, but not limited to, concrete, masonry, and roofing construction projects.  Target markets include Tract Home Building, Assisted Living Complexes, Storage Facilities, Medical Facilities, and Retail Commercial Projects.

 

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Ability to review construction design plans and identify the scope of work.
  • Ability to lead the estimating process from inception to submission, including takeoffs, RFI’s, client engagement, and identifying missing items or details in the scope of work.
  • Manage clients, project pipeline, and bid deadlines in the company software.
  • Assist in developing continuous improvement within our day to day business operations.
  • Assist in creating pre-construction and post-construction schedules and documents.
  • Attend pre-construction and in-progress meetings as required.
  • Engage with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to assist in cost estimating.
  • Responsible for creating estimates for concrete and commercial roofing projects.
  • Work and collaborate directly with the sales person and the construction project manager.
  • Evaluate revisions to the scope of work and change order requests.
  • Ensure contract and scope of work requirements are being met and projects remain on budget. 

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 Years Commercial Construction Management and/or Estimating with the ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or equivalent is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and business management skills are required.
  • Proficiency in MS Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent research skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to review and understand construction specifications, detail drawings, construction plans, and complete scope of work.
